PETALING JAYA: Pahang executive councillor Johari Harun was among the eight people on board the plane that crashed near Elmina, Selangor today.

Johari, the state local government, environment and green technology executive councillor, was also the Pelangai assemblyman and Bentong Umno chief.His death was confirmed by Pahang state assembly speaker Sharkar Shamsudin in a Facebook post. “Johari was in the plane that crashed at Elmina, Shah Alam. May God bless his soul. Al-Fatihah,” said Sharkar.
