The cloud cluster outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) may develop into a low pressure area (LPA) in the coming days, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the cloud cluster is seen east of Visayas and Mindanao, and if it becomes an LPA, it will remain over the ocean and could enter the PAR early next week.
"Continuous monitoring tayo dito sa mga kaulapan na ito sa posibilidad na magkaroon ito ng sirkulasyon at maging ganap na low pressure area sa mga susunod na araw," PAGASA weather forecaster Grace Castañeda said.
