President Marcos has named a new head of the Presidential Security Group, Malacañang announced yesterday.
Brig. Gen. Jesus Nelson Morales has been appointed as the commander of the Presidential Security Group, taking the place of Brig. Gen. Ramon Zagala.
There was no word from Malacañang yet on why Zagala was replaced as PSG chief, but such movements are usually preceded by recommendations from the Department of National Defense and the Armed Forces leadership.He previously served as spokesman of Armed Forces. He is a graduate of VIP Protection Course and held various positions in the PSG during his junior years. Zagala was an aide-de-camp of former president Joseph Estrada.
