Known for its innovative curriculum and foreign exchange program, Padua Franciscan High School recently took a step forward on the international stage.
After an intense and year-long application process, the State Road school earned the distinction of becoming the first school in the U.S. to earn full accreditation from the American International Accreditation Association of Schools and Colleges .
“We wanted to do something else with that. We wanted to expand that and this opportunity came to us where we can literally open up our curriculum to the world.”The organization is dedicated to increasing quality education by applying rigorous quality standards and validating the educational quality of schools through on-site reviews conducted by evaluators.
As far as Padua Franciscan High School’s academic prowess, its innovative MedTrack and MyTrack programs provide career exploration and curriculum foundation. “So it certainly is helpful to attract students from around the world. I’m looking to continue to build those relationships and getting to meet teachers from other countries.”
