“Bob was in here and one of the things he said that was really important in the meetings is this team now has the ability to get guys a day off,” Myers said. “Like Manny’s been playing on one leg for a month. When you play through the season, you get things that kind of bang you up at times that you play through. What’s really cool is that AJ gave us the ability to give days off to get healthy for the last month of the season and after the regular season.
