The San Diego Padres are reportedly listening to trade offers for Dylan Cease, Xander Bogaerts, and Luis Arraez this winter.
The San Diego Padres are looking to close in on the Los Angeles Dodgers, but they're fighting quite an uphill battle in closing that gap. The Dodgers have already added Michael Conforto and Blake Snell while re-signing Blake Treinen. While Los Angeles has done this, San Diego hasn't made the same meaningful moves. While the Padres haven't made a big move yet, they're finding themselves mixed into rumors.
All three of these star players should come with quite a bit of trade interest from around the league.Bogaerts is the least likely to be moved because he's under contract through 2033. Both Arraez and Cease are entering their walk years in 2025. The Padres will likely receive a bit of interest for each of the three stars, but trading them might not be as likely.
