Paddy McGuinness joins Vernon Kay for most Boltonian picture after 'blunder' at Wembley Stadium
Bolton-raised telly favourites were reunited as they watched Bolton Wanderers' 4-0 triumph over Plymouth Argyle at Wembley Stadium. Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay were cheering in the stands as their heroes lifted the Papa John’s Trophy.

Expanding more on what had happened he said he was in the wrong end during the first half. "I was only in the Plymouth end and in the second half I got in the Bolton end with the Bolton fans. What a Sunday," he beamed.
In 2021 Vernon and Paddy starred together in an ad for n TransPennine Express and the pair reflected on growing up in Bolton. "When I was a young lad, it felt like Manchester was the centre of the world then," Paddy told Vernon. "Because it had blown up with all Happy Mondays and what have you. Then Afflecks Palace was the place to go. So then you get the train there and go and buy your Kangol hat and stuff like that, and them necklaces with a map of Africa".
