WITH the Villar-led Nacionalista Party (NP) joining the “Alyansa Para Bagong Pilipinas” (Alliance for New Philippines), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said the coalition will become a dominant force in the 2025 National and Local Election (NLE).

Aside from the PFP, which is chaired by Marcos, the other political parties that are now part of the ANP include the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, the Nationalist People’s Coalition and the National Unity Party. “Our path forward will be weaved together with our unified vision of rallying Filipinos towards a prosperous future where liberty, equality, justice and human dignity is assured for each and every Filipino,” Villar said.
“We have just formalized and institutionalized this alliance between the PFP and the Nacionalista party. And from this day onward we will be scouting candidates. But we have candidates for the midterm elections,” Barbers said.
