RETIRED pro boxer and hall of famer Manny Pacquiao is praying for miracles to get the exemption to qualify for the Paris Olympic Summer Games next year without passing through the two Olympic qualifying tournaments next year.
“We already submitted the appeal last October and we just emailed the IOC on that issue if he will be allowed to bid one of the universality places,” Tolentino said, noting that he is confident the former senator will get a positive response from the IOC. “We are hopeful, but we have to manage expectations. We hope the IOC will consider,” Manalo said, adding that everybody wants Pacquiao to fight in the Olympics. “Who doesn’t like Pacquiao in the Olympics?”
