De La Gorgendiere was joined by fellow Blades overagers Josh Pillar and Blake Gustafson as the game’s three stars. “It’s pretty cool — that’s something the Blades do for every year, but it’s pretty cool to be out there, especially me being here for my whole junior career,” said De La Gorgendiere. “It’s pretty special and this place holds a pretty big place in my heart.”Article content“Five years, with obviously a COVID year in there, but it’s still a long time,” said Bedard. “To be on the team last year, having that frustration with not making it, we were close and we had so many games we should have won.
