KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — Pacific Senior Living Sdn Bhd today said that it is working closely with authorities over the fire that occurred in the old Employees Provident Fund building on Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya earlier today.
The company, which has signed a 30-year lease with EPF to open a senior living facility in the building, said that its priority is to ensure the building is safe and secure. “We would like to assure the public and residents that we prioritise the safety and well-being of our contractors, staff and the community,” an official said.“On behalf of Pacific Senior Living, we would like to record our deepest appreciation for the swift response and efforts of the firefighters and emergency personnel who diligently worked to control the fire and prevent further damage,” they said.
