However, sources close to Marc Stein indicate that the team has no intention of parting ways with him. Turner, a cornerstone player for the Pacers since his selection as the 11th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft from the University of Texas, has attracted the attention of multiple teams seeking to bolster their rosters.
While the Pacers are open to exploring potential deals, they would only entertain offers that include a starting-caliber center in return. This stance stems from the Pacers' need to address their depth issues at the center position this season. Turner has consistently been a valuable asset for the Pacers, averaging 15.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.9 blocks in 31.1 minutes of play. He has also shown significant improvement in his outside shooting, connecting on 40.0 percent of his 5.2 three-point attempts per game.
