A Bedford County woman is facing charges after police say she fired at state troopers.
It all took place on Aug. 18, when authorities were dispatched to a home along the 700 block of Narrow Lane in Cumberland Valley Township at 6:50 p.m. for reports of a domestic incident involving a woman who was shooting at a group of people. Upon arrival, they learned that 53-year-old Melissa Lynn Suder, of Bedford, was involved in an altercation with individuals inside her home. During the argument, she went to grab a gun and fired several times at these people.
And when authorities arrived, she shot several times in their direction. A Special Emergency Response Team was deployed and took Suder into custody.Suder is being charged with attempted criminal homicide, attempted criminal homicide of law enforcement, aggravated assault with attempt to cause bodily injury with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, among other charges,
