A victim in the criminal prosecution of several former Mount Carmel players seeks damages.
The claims of Michael Reed are legally barred and did not occur in a school, the district argues in a brief filed Wednesday in U.S. Middle District Court.
The suit stems from the hazing activity on Sept. 23 and 30, 2020, on the property of Jeffrey and Karen Witkoski where players went to watch films of the previous week’s game.
