WILLIAMSPORT – The 2020 stabbing of an Allenwood Federal Penitentiary corrections officer was an ISIS terrorist attack, the government alleges. That was revealed Monday in the government’s opposition to the request of Kuwait-born Abdulrahman el Bahnasawy to resolve his U.S. Middle District criminal caseAccording to Assistant U.S. Attorney George J. Rocktashel, the inmate had in his sock when Dale Franquet Jr. was attacked on Dec. 7, 2020, a note that stated: “This is a terrorist attack for the Islamic State.”
