com After well-regarded 2027 four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor decommitted from the Nittany Lions on Friday, the prize of the 2027 cycle thus far — five-star running back Kemon Spell — hinted he could soon follow. “That’s a good question... No, I’m not,” Spell told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette when asked if he’s still 100% with Penn State. Spell committed to James Franklin and PSU on Aug. 2, 2024.October 11, 2025 Spell, the No. 1 running back in his class and the top player in Pennsylvania, received an offer from Georgia this week and reportedly is setting up a visit to the Bulldogs this fall. Penn State long held the nation’s No. 1 2027 class with the likes of Spell and Taylor in tow. But things have soured quickly after Penn State’s 42-37 loss at UCLA.
