A man is accused of trying to attack relatives with an axe in the Poconos and then fleeing from police before being arrested, police said.Fodor faces 36 charges stemming from the Monday night incident in Pocono Summit. The charges include two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, as well as fleeing from police and resisting arrest, Pocono Mountain Regional Police said.Police were called for a domestic dispute involving an axe at 8:29 p.m.

Arriving officers saw Fodor driving out of the development, and tried to stop him but he drove off, authorities said. Police said they disabled the vehicle, though they did not detail how, and the vehicle stopped at a business on Route 611, where Fodor was taken into custody.
