Nathan Quidetto, 20, of Latrobe, has been charged with homicide in the killing a 52-year-old teacher Tracy Squib early Monday in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. A Pa. man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to third-degree murder in the shooting death of a woman in 2020.
Nathan Quidetto, of Westmoreland County, told police in 2020 that he drove to the wrong house, got out of the car, and shot into the home multiple times before getting back in the vehicle and driving away. Tracy Squib, a 52-year-old teacher, was shot while sleeping in her home,She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her husband and two children were also in the home at the time, according to reports.
Quidetto, 20 at the time, told police he shot at the house “in retaliation for a botched drug transaction.” Though it was a case of mistaken identity,
