MUNCY – State police have identified the man believed to have killed himself while being pursued by state troopers early Sunday in Lycoming County. They also disclosed additional details of the pursuit that ended with the death of Timothy James Bird, 36, Sunbury. They said they suspected Bird of being intoxicated when they stopped him about 12:55 a.m. on Interstate 180 in the Williamsport suburb of Loyalsock Twp.
