Travis Shearer called 911 hysterically crying and saying that his brother had been attacking him so he shot him in the chest with a crossbow.
Police said that Travis Shearer, 32, of Friedens, called 911 a little before 8 p.m. Friday, hysterically crying and saying that his brother, Eric Miller, had been attacking him so he shot him in the chest with a crossbow, according to reports fromShearer told police that Shearer had taken Miller to Walmart and then the pair got a few drinks at a bar.
State police then said that when they arrived at his home, Miller began to choke Shearer. Shearer told authorities he broke away but was chased around his vehicle by Miller. State police said that video footage from the scene does not show Miller actively pursuing Shearer and that the latter could have gone into his house safely at any point, WJAC reported.
