A Pa. cop with a good eye spotted a car parked in a darkened car wash bay. Inside, a man was having sex with a 14-year-old girl, police say.
Police added that when confronted by the officer, Lynott appeared “overly nervous” and put his hands up, volunteering that he was “not drunk” and “only had a few.” Lynott also offered that he had smoked marijuana a few hours earlier but claimed to have been issued a medical marijuana card, according to the complaint cited by the newspaper.
The girl later told authorities she met Lynott on Snapchat. At the scene, police said she was “extremely sluggish,” unable to enunciate her words or to provide her home address, according to the complaint cited by the Citizens Voice. Lynott faces charges of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent exposure, indecent assault of a child, illegal weapons possession, carrying a firearm without a license, driving under the influence, marijuana possession, possessing drug paraphernalia, furnishing alcohol to a minor and having an open alcohol container in a vehicle.
At last report, he was being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, with bail set at $150,000. A Gouldsboro man is facing child sex charges after Duryea police say they caught him having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met on social media in a car loaded with marijuana, whiskey and a pistol.
