A city in in Pennsylvania had the second fastest-growing rent in the country over the past year.

that tracked rent prices across the country’s largest metro areas to see just how much they changed over the last six months. The big kahuna item Redfin’s study found was that rents are actually growing half as fast as they were half a year ago.

“Rising supply is also causing rent growth to slow. Scores of apartments that have been under construction are now coming on the market, and more homeowners are choosing to become landlords instead of selling in order to hold on to their record-low mortgage rates.”
