Stelson is challenging Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa. , for the seat. The Associated Press has called the race for the Democratic Primary in the Pennsylvania 10th Congressional District for former television news anchor Janelle Stelson.
She will run against Congressman Scott Perry in the November general election, again. Stelson has focused on Perry in her campaign saying she is ready to run against him and that she's made changes from when she ran against him in 2024. She's called out his record and the current inflation and the conflict in Iran, saying his backing of the president has made life harder for people in Pennsylvania. The story of Congressman Scott Perry just keeps getting worse.
He has spent 14-years in Washington casting extreme votes that have hurt our community and made everything from gas to groceries to health care more expensive. I respect Commissioner Douglas for his commitment to defeating Scott Perry and look forward to working with him and others in our community to unseat Perry and deliver change.
