The suspects were identified as Ricardo Ramos Jr, 31; Enrico Solis, 31, both residents of Sta. Cruz, Manila; and Pinky Gumaga, 24, a resident of Brgy. 223, Tondo, Manila City. According to the police, the officers of QCPD La Loma Police Station were manning a checkpoint along NS Amoranto St., Brgy. Salvacion, Quezon City, at about 3:20 a.m. on Monday.Instead of pulling over, the driver and his passengers ignored the police officers and sped off.The suspects were immediately frisked by the police. They yielded 40 grams of suspected shabu valued at P272, 000, a caliber .
All the suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022, and Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
