House Speaker Martin Romualdez led the Bagong Pilipinas fair in Tacloban City which was attended by Senate and House leaders.More funding is being sought through the proposed 2025 national budget to ensure that President Marcos’ flagship public service projects continue to deliver government services and reach more Filipinos across the country.
He said that next week, the lower chamber will begin deliberations on the P6.352-trillion national budget that includes allocations for programs and services to help the people. “Night and day, your Congress will work to speed up and ensure the passage of the budget so that we can help our countrymen even more. This is the New Philippines, this is the new Congress,” he stressed.
The Mega BPSF in Tacloban City managed to draw 241 House members – the highest attendance in a BPSF to date.
