Veteran rocker Ozzy Osbourne, despite battling health issues, expresses gratitude for life and announces a final performance with Black Sabbath. His upcoming show in Birmingham, England, will be his last with the original band lineup.

Ozzy Osbourne expressed gratitude for his life despite ongoing health challenges during a recent episode of his Sirius XM show, 'Ozzy Speaks.' On January 29th, the 76-year-old rocker, joined by co-host Billy Morrison, openly discussed his difficulties with walking while maintaining a positive outlook. 'I go on about the way I can’t walk, and I can’t do this … but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive,' Osbourne said.

Morrison acknowledged the toll Osbourne's past lifestyle choices may have taken, prompting Osbourne to reflect, 'I may be moaning about how I can’t walk, but I look down the road and there’s people that didn’t do half as much as me, and they didn’t make it. There’s so many friends and acquaintances that have gone.' Despite his physical limitations, Osbourne emphasized his appreciation for life, stating, 'I’m not dead, still actively doing things.' He reassured fans, 'Keep listening because we ain’t going nowhere.'His upcoming final show with Black Sabbath's original lineup in July in Birmingham, England, marks a significant moment for Osbourne. 'It’s my time to go back to the beginning, time for me to give back to the place where I was born,' he said in a statement. 'How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham forever.' Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife, shed light on his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease, diagnosed in 2003. 'Parkinson’s isn’t something that goes away. You have it forever. There’s no cure. So, he has battles with it where he has to work with a physiotherapist every day. And he’s got to keep his muscles going,' she shared. Despite the challenges, Sharon emphasized her husband's resilience, stating, 'He's fine. As fine as you can be with Parkinson’s.' She also mentioned that Osbourne feels the upcoming concert will provide a fitting end to his career, a chance to say goodbye to fans and friends. 'Ozzy didn't have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there’s been no full stop. This is his full stop.' In 2023, Osbourne announced his retirement from touring, citing his inability to keep up with the demands of his former lifestyle. This final show in Birmingham promises to be a momentous occasion, a celebration of his legendary career and a heartfelt farewell to his devoted fans
