Vice President lenirobredo on Monday said there are lapses in the Duterte administration's pandemic response, adding that the Office of the Vice President is 'trying to fill in the gaps.'
But Robredo said she continues to be "hopeful," adding that the OVP tries to help the government in filling the gaps. Among the OVP's pandemic programs are vaccine express, swab cab initiatives and its telemedicine program.
"Alam natin na parang binulaga tayo nitong pandemic hindi natin inaasahan na ganito ‘yung gravity ng epekto sa atin pero ngayon kasi marami na tayong lessons eh, marami nang lessons especially from the better performing countries na hindi na tayo kailangan mangapa gaya noong pangangapa natin noong 2020," she added.
"Itong meron tayong Omicron variant na grabe 'yung transmission kailangan yung testing dagdagan natin. 'Yung contract tracing 'yun 'yung ating pinaka-weakest link mula noong 2020. ," Robredo pointed out.
