We see some graffiti in an Oasis spawn room before we hear someone say “It’s looking like a revolution.” A piece of graffiti reading “ Phreak s” then glitches.for Blizzard to add a Scottish hero to the game and I’m very glad that there’s one on the way in season 14. I hope that graffiti is there throughout season 13 too.. It seems likely that this new hero, whatever their name is, will be a tank.
Season 13, meanwhile, is spooky-themed. It’s called Spellbinder and the Mythic skin is a sick on for Widowmaker. It has some cool effects for her grappling hook and sniper rifle. Very curious to see Soldier: 76’s Mythic weapon in action too. Junkenstein’s Revenge is always fun, so I’m sure I’ll play a couple of rounds of that when it returns, but I’m very curious to check out Junkenstein’s Laboratory. This a new team deathmatch mode with talent cards that augment abilities, giving us another taste of what the (The trailer shows Reinhardt’s Fire Strike leaving a trail of fire on the ground as well as a souped-up Charge.
There are major updates for several maps: Circuit Royal, Dorado, Havana and Numbani. We’ll need to see how well those work in practice, but they seem to be aimed at making the maps friendlier to attackers. I’m a little bummed that a few of my favorite spots on Dorado are less accessible, but so it goes.collab skins. What’s really exciting to me though is the black and gold recolors for the Mythic skins.
There’s not a ton to complain about in the season 13 preview. Everything looks compelling enough. But the entire time I’m playing, I’ll have half a mind on what’s to come in a couple of months.Our community is about connecting people through open and thoughtful conversations.
