Overwatch 2 is going to the Pacific for its next map, which could be teasing the game's next hero.
’s blockbuster sixth season will be wrapping up soon, so it’s time to turn our focus to what’s ahead. Along with a Sombra rework and balance updates galore, Season 7 will introduce a new control map. It’s called Samoa.
Blizzard hasn’t revealed too many details about it just yet. Game director Aaron Keller and executive producer Jared Neuss will provide a closer look at the map on October 1 during the Overwatch League Grand Finals .Overwatch 2 hero. After all, “Mauga” is a Samoan word that means “mountain” or “mountains.” It just so happens that there’s a large mountain in the background of the first teaser image of Samoa. Hmm...
It’s always great to get a new map to freshen things up. Samoa looks gorgeous based on this first image. I love the architecture.was released nearly a year ago and there are still only three of those. Maybe next time, eh?
