The popular game Overwatch 2 has launched a collaboration with the beloved Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Players can unlock character skins inspired by the show, including Mei as Katara, Venture as Toph, and Genji as Zuko. The collaboration also features in-game references to the series, such as Zenyatta riding an air scooter and Momo in Venture's backpack. The event runs until December 30, 2024, with challenges offering rewards like sprays, voice lines, and player icons.
trailer, which can be seen below, begins similarly to the iconic Avatar: The Last Airbender ’s intro. We then see Zenyatta as Aang, Mei as Katara, Venture as Toph, Genji as Zuko, Kiriko as Suki, and Orisa as Appa.
The collaborations has some fun references to the beloved Nickelodeon show. The trailer shows Zenyatta riding the air scooter, and the winged lemur Momo in Venture’s backpack. The Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration is available in Overwatch 2 right now, and lasts until December 30, 2024. Players can complete challenges to earn sprays, voice lines, and player icons based on the Nickelodeon cartoon. The Katara skin for Mei can be unlocked by completing some of these special challenges.
The rest of the Avatar: The Last Airbender skins are available to purchase. Each one can be purchased separately, or bundled together in the Mega Bundle.
