The commercial vehicle in question caught fire along the eastbound lanes near mile marker 259.9. The closure will remain in place until the scene is cleared, but the Turnpike Commission did not provide an estimate for when that will be.Take I-283 north for 2.7 miles, then take US-322 East for 21.1 miles before entering PA-72 for two miles and returning to I-76 at the Lebanon-Lancaster interchange.
Pennsylvania State Police and Pennsylvania Turnpike personnel will be stationed near affected areas to assist drivers, the release said.
