NSTnation Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had instructed that all Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers be invited to a special meeting on the Restricted Movement Order and Covid19 pandemic helsd today.

However, due to an oversight by Chief Secretary Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali’s secretariat, invitations were only extended to Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers from components of the ruling Perikatan Nasional coalition.

“It is to be emphasised here that the Prime Minister is looking seriously into the and has made a clear stand to cooperate with all state governments, regardless of political backgrounds, especially in matters of national interest. Earlier today, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir had questioned Muhyiddin’s alleged move to exclude opposition government leaders from the meeting.
