Bjorn Baker believe he has the perfect draw for Overpass to lead all-the-way in The Everest, while I Wish I Win has drawn gate one.

Overpass was a clear winner of a spectacular barrier reveal for The Everest that featured water fountains and a laser show on Sydney Harbour on Tuesday night.

“He is a much better horse than when he ran sixth to Giga Kick in this race last year,” Baker said. “My mathematician told me I wanted to be as close to the rail as possible and we nearly got that perfect barrier. James Cummings’ other runner, In Secret, will probably have to go back after drawing the outside gate of 12.“It was one good, one bad for us, but Cylinder looks like he gets a great run outside Overpass,” Cummings said. “He will get his chance to show his true potential. It is slightly disappointing for In Secret but she will run a big race.”
