The City Police Drug Enforcement Unit seized suspected shabu valued at P129,200 in separate operations in Naga City , Camarines Sur where they served search warrants.At a densely vegetated area of a house in Barangay Balatas, officers found four sachets of suspected shabu concealed in the compartment of a flashlight. Further inspection of the area revealed an additional 16 small sachets of illegal drugs hidden in a kitchen cabinet.
Kahit naman nakatakas iyon, mafa-file-an pa rin siya ng kaso," Police Lieutenant Colonel Chester Pomar, public information officer, Naga City Police Office, said.The suspect's wife said she was not aware of the presence of illegal drugs at their home.In Barangay Triangulo, authorities found four sachets of suspected shabu worth P88,400 inside a wallet at a store near the Eastbound Terminal.The 50-year-old subject of the operation is a former secretary of Barangay Balatas.
