Additionally, this is the most rainfall we’ve seen at the Jacksonville International Airport since Tropical Storm Fay in 2008.On Sunday, Aug. 25, Craig Municipal Airport broke the daily record rainfall of 1.55 inches previously set in 2002 by almost 2″ for a total of 3.22 inches between midnight and 9 a.m.With more rain in the forecast this week, August rainfall totals will continue to climb up the Top 10 charts before the Labor Day weekend marks the “unofficial” end of summer.
