Over 3M Cebuanos to pick bet

OVER three million voters will cast their ballots in the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections in Cebu Province, including the tri-cities, according to the list of the Commission on Elections Cebu Provincial Office as of Sept. 28, 2023.

The total number of regular registered voters in Cebu, including in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu, was 3,384,198, according to the Comelec.The Comelec also recorded 1,177,393 registered Sangguniang Kabataan voters, who are from the ages of 15 and 30, in the entire Cebu Province.The office has prepared up to 20,111 polling precincts for the BSKE. Comelec acting regional director Lionel Marco Castillano said they are now 90 percent ready for the Oct. 30 election.
