Over 3 million Cebuanos to cast votes in BSKE polls

UP TO 3.3 million Cebuanos will cast their ballots in the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election in Cebu province, including the tricities, according to the list of the Commission on Election Cebu Provincial office as of September 28, 2023.

The total regular registered voters in Cebu, including the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, were 3,384,198, according to Comelec.Comelec also recorded a total of 1,177,393 registered Sangguniang Kabataan voters, who are between the ages of 15 and 30, in the entire Cebu province.The office has also prepared up to 20,111 polling precincts for BSKE. Comelec acting regional director Lionel Marco Castillano said they are now 90 percent ready for the October 30 election.
