ABOUT 2,547 police will be deployed in the cemeteries in Manila for All Saints' Day on Wednesday.
'This number excludes the group of personnel from Armed Forces of the Philippines , Bureau of Fire Protection and Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office ,' the Manila Police District said in a statement.
The city government said it is ready for the influx of people visiting their dearly departed at the Manila North and South, La Loma and Chinese cemeteries.As of Monday, there were 123,645 visitors at the Manila North and South cemeteries and more are expected to come starting today, a day after the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections .
