The Tanjung Piai Johor National Park will undergo some minor upgrading works soon.
Johor National Parks Council director Taufik Bahar said when Malaysia opened its borders on April 1 last year, the park drew more than 150,000 visitors.
“With the Sungai Pulai bridge now open to the public and cutting down travel time between Johor Baru and Pontian, more will be drawn to visit the park, which is located in the most southern point on the peninsula,” he said.“We are looking at upgrading the surau and public toilets as well as other park facilities.
He said the Endau-Rompin Johor National Park in Peta and Selai would only be open to the public on Feb 25.
