Claire and Jamie are trapped in the house, defending it, and they are all alone – it’s a very powerful sequence, isn’t it? After the shooting stopped, it was very nice to see that Fraser family cat Adso had survived the gunfight. Did you include an Adso scene so fans would know he was okay?The action switches from the attack on Fraser’s Ridge, to Brianna, Roger and Jemmy on a road trip, unaware anything has happened.
Is it hard choosing which memorable moments from Diana Gabaldon’s books are seen on screen and which have to be dropped? It’s been such a horrible season for Claire and such a horrible time on the road so you want her to get some retribution there. We were all cheering for her, and I also love the moment when she comes around the house with the shotgun, that we show in the opening credits, it is such a kick ass Annie Oakley moment for her. It is one of my favourite moments, and that moment she comes around like John Wayne protecting them.I love the shoot out, and the Claire and Jamie moments in the house.
