Officers at 6:19 a.m. on Aug. 28 responded to the Radisson Inn after a Michigan man discovered the catalytic converter on his car was cut off sometime overnight.
The victim said he parked his 2012 Ford Escape at 3:30 p.m. the previous day when he arrived at the hotel, and upon returning to the car in the morning, he discovered the missing equipment.Walmart security contacted the police department at 9:13 p.m. on Aug. 22 regarding a suspected shoplifter they had in custody.
The asset protection officer stopped the suspect as he was leaving the building and held him for the police. The store provided the police department with a video of the incident.A man and woman were charged Aug. 19 with petty theft for shoplifting at Walmart after a store employee observed the man not properly scanning items at a self-checkout register.
