Mo Salah paid Stefan Bajčeti a huge compliment after Liverpool cruised to a comfortable win in the Merseyside derby ⚽
The performances of teenage midfielder Bajcetic have represented one of the few uplifting aspects of a wretched run of form for Liverpool and the Spaniard was outstanding again at the heart of his side’s engine room.
Economic with the ball and tigerish in the tackle, Anfield has warmed immediately to the 18-year-old and Salah believes Bajcetic has been Liverpool’s best player since breaking into the team. He said: ‘He’s a great player and person, he always tries to work hard. Since he started playing for us, he has been our best player maybe so hopefully he keeps that confidence and keeps going.’Stefan BajÄetiÄ grateful for the compliments by Mo Salah
