The Buckeyes will open up the first round in the Schottenstein Center where they went 15-1 this season.This is the 28th appearance in the tournament for OSU and its first time as a No. 2 seed since 2010. The team is 31-27 overall in its tournament history.In some good news for the Buckeyes, Jacy Sheldon and sophomore forward Cotie McMahon earned All-American honors on Wednesday.Sheldon, who also won Ohio State’s sportsmanship award, led the team in points per game and assists .
The first-round matchup tips off at noon on ESPN. The winner would advance to play either Duke or Richmond on Sunday, also at The Schott.
