Another former SEC star, running back Quinshon Judkins, also entered the portal and wound up in Columbus. He'll join veteran TreVeyon Henderson to form one of the sport's best 1-2 punches. Quite the busy offseason at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, where the team will meet for its first workout of the season Thursday.Below are five things we're keeping an eye on as workouts begin for the Buckeyes, whose fans are heading into the 2024 season with a national-championship-or-bust mentality:
2. The RB room: Henderson was a star freshman in 2021 but has battled injuries in each of the last two seasons. By all accounts, he is fully healthy but if he can't regain his first-year form, Judkins has an impressive resume of his own. He ran for more than 2,700 yards and scored a total of 34 touchdowns in his two seasons at Mississippi.
