Roberts thanked the Football Association of Wales (FAW) for 'expressing an interest' in approaching him, but said he was committed to Italian club Como 1907.
One of the frontrunners to succeed Rob Page as Wales manager has ruled himself out of the running. Osian Roberts was previously an assistant coach for the Wales men's national team but has said he is committed to club Como 1907, which was recently promoted to the top flight of the Italian league system under his stewardship. Last month, Page was sacked as manager after the team failed to qualify for the European Championships in Germany.

Roberts was assistant coach at Wales for four years from 2015 to 2019, before spending two years as assistant manager at Crystal Palace. He has been caretaker coach of Como since December last year and is a regular pundit on Welsh-language broadcaster S4C.
