OSHA ends investigation of on-duty death of American Airlines employee at Austin's airport

The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. Thursday.

, both American Airlines and Menzies Aviation, a U.K.-based company, were subjects of OSHA's federal investigation. However, on Friday, OSHA officials confirmed to KVUE that no companies were cited Ingraham's death at the close of the investigation.Austin Bergstrom International Airport employee dies at airport gateat AUS that happened earlier this week. A vehicle hit and killed a worker outside the airport, near gates 33 and 34, on Oct. 31.

OSHA told KVUE that it could not comment on an open and ongoing investigation. It also said by law, it has up to six months to complete its investigation into this incident.
