Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel left viewers shocked as he made a number of jokes focused on Robert Downey Jr and the drug addiction he suffered from early in his acting career
The 56 year old comedian, who is hosting this year's Academy Awards, had warned earlier in the week that nothing was "off limits", which he proved by making a joke about Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr's past struggles with substance abuse.
But things took another turn when Jimmy asked: "Is that an acceptance speech in your pocket or do you just have a very rectangular penis?" Robert was left speechless and the remark and simply shrugged when the cameras returned to him. "Jimmy Kimmel lost my interest when he starting making drug jokes about Robert Downey Jr.... and then he starting making jokes about Bradely Cooper dating his mom.....this Oscars Opening Monologue is a hard no for me," added another.
