Chaine, who has accumulated 51 appearances for Pirates, has kept 18 clean sheets and conceded 38 goals. His experience and performance underscore his readiness to step up and guide the younger goalkeepers in the squad. In a recent interview, Chaine emphasised his commitment to his role without needing external reminders. “I think as a football player or for me personally, nobody needs to come and tell you your role and your responsibility at the moment,” said Chaine.
