An Oregon school district is asking U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz ’s campaign to pull two ads focused on transgender athletes because the district says they picture a female student who isn’t transgender and whose family never gave permission to use the photo. The ads accuse U.S. Rep. Colin Allred , the Dallas Democrat running against Cruz, of supporting policies that allow transgender athletes to compete on teams aligning with their gender identity.
