The skies over Oregon have turned orange and red as wildfires continue to burn throughout the Western part of the state.
In southern Oregon, near the Californian border, the Two Four Two Fire is burning 2,000 acres and isn't contained, while the man-made Grizzly Creek Fire is burning 325 acres and is 25 percent contained.
There is a Red Flag Warning in place in areas of the North and Central Oregon Coast as windy and extremely dry conditions are expected to continue through Wednesday evening. Dry and unstable conditions are also possible on Thursday. NWS Portland said on Twitter:"Many areas have evacuation orders. Minimize the risk to firefighters and follow those orders! Also, conditions are still too dry for activities at risk for generating sparks such as mowing lawns and fields, using chainsaws, and recreational fire of any kind. Please wait."
The sky turns a deep orange as smoke fills the area during the Carr fire near Whiskeytown, California, on July 27, 2018. Similar scenes have been seen over Oregon this week as the state continues to battle numerous wildfires.
